About Understanding Epidemiology

This text/tutorial is focused on basic concepts and not the details of anatomy and physiology. We will be building a solid foundation of A&P insight and understanding. This foundation will then help students integrate more details of human structure and function as they progress through their academics and careers. But at an introductory level, the foundation is essential!

Students will have a basic understanding of the human body including, but not limited to, the skeletal system, the nervous system, the cardiovascular system, the digestive system, and the reproductive system.

In the Active Learning portion of this course, students will use both flashcards, review games, and quizzes as supplementary material to help them navigate through each module and grasp the concepts in a more hands-on way.
